The objective of the Public Policy Lab (PPL) Unit is to offer decision makers innovative solutions to their challenges through ad hoc, focused exercises helping them analyse and explore identified problematics they encounter to provide adequate answers.  
The PPL thus aims at contributing to better public policies both in Morocco and in Africa.
 

Job description
- Write information and analysis notes on the identified subjects (collect data, organize, filter and structure information: initiation to monitoring and strategic analysis);
- Conduct in-depth research on specific topics of relevance to the PPL’s activities;
- Participate in webinars organized by PCNS or partners and take notes in a predefined format;
- Take part in the conception of workshops by the PPL;
- Contribution to certain activities led by other departments/units.

In addition to your responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the Policy Center for the New South and its ecosystem.

Requirements
Job skills:
Be enrolled in a graduate program as a full-time student focusing on one of the following areas:
- Political sciences, area studies and public policies; 
- Public management;
- International affairs/relations;
- Economics, development studies;
- Cyber-security;
- History / Geography;
- Sociology, linguistics.
- Language skills are required. Understanding of design thinking is a plus.

Behavioural skills:
-Commitment to work during the agreed hours.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
-Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines.
