She is the founder of Unu Design Workshop, a fair trade clothing company in the Peruvian highlands. Prior to joining the Canadian public service, Boyd managed various business and development initiatives in Peru, France, and Nicaragua. She holds a master’s degree in political economy, and is a graduate of the Government of Canada’s Accelerated Economist Training Program. Boyd has been recognized as an emerging leader by Action Canada, Canada’s premier public policy leadership program.

He was a member of the Mexican delegation to the 2013 G20 Young Entrepreneur’s Alliance Summit, and he worked as a marketing executive at L’Oreal managing brands in Latin America and Europe. He launched Alterna in 2010. Buchbinder holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Instituto Technológico Autónomo de México, a master’s degree in environmental technology and business from Imperial College London, and a master’s degree in environmental geography from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

He is also the co-founder of Subite al Chunche, a web-based documentary designed to generate national unity and support for the men’s national team of Costa Rica at the 2014 World Cup tournament in Brazil. The documentary became the most widely shared World Cup-related project in the country. Formerly, Castro was a reporter and producer for CNN. He is currently a storytelling instructor at the United World College in Costa Rica, and a member of the San José Global Shaper’s hub.

Georges Philippe Duroseau

Georges Philippe Duroseau is currently first secretary at the Embassy of Haiti to Benelux and Mission to the EU in Brussels.

In this role, he is responsible for reporting on briefings held by think tanks such as Friends of Europe and the European Centre for Development Policy Management. He also fills the role of vice-consul in the embassy’s Consular Service, and follows dossiers involving the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States, the European Parliament, and the European Commission. He previously worked in the Economic Section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Duroseau holds a bachelor’s degree in international affairs and politics from Vesalius College.

Kawtar Eddahmani

Kawtar Eddahmani is currently based in London, where she works with emerging markets investments in the asset management industry.

Prior to this, she worked in the sovereign advisory group at the investment bank Lazard Frères Gestion in Paris, where she was involved in assignments related to sovereign debt restructuring, sovereign financing, and banking sector reform. Eddahmani graduated from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where she specialized in international development. She also holds master’s degrees from HEC Paris, and Ecole Polytechnique in France.

Lucineida Fonseca

Lucineida Fonseca is an economic advisor, and a member of the 2030 Country Strategy Team in the Strategic Policy Center within the Office of the Prime Minister of Cape Verde.

Prior to this, she was the director of monitoring and remediation at Estrategos Consultores, where she oversaw a $5 million venture philanthropy portfolio focused on reducing poverty through funding community organizations, and small and medium enterprises in strategic economic sectors. Her previous professional experience includes working as a transfer pricing analyst for KPMG in Shanghai, and as an investment banking analyst for Goldman Sachs in New York City. She is the vice president of the Board of Lumiarte, a social enterprise that employs disabled women producing artisanal candles, a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, and the founding curator of the Global Shaper’s Praia Hub. Fonseca holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Yale University.

Andy Gboka

Equity Analyst, Exotix, Ivory Coast

Andy Gboka joined Exotix in March 2011 as an equity analyst covering the brewing and cement sectors in sub-Saharan Africa, not including South Africa.

He previously worked at Société Générale, first as a junior analyst in the pharmaceuticals team, and subsequently in the European utilities and gas team. Gboka qualified as an accountant in France before obtaining a master’s degree in finance from BEM – Bordeaux Management School. He has spoken at various conferences discussing sub-Saharan Africa markets, including the Global CemTrader conference, the Exotix Frontier Forum, and the African Stock Exchange Association conference. Gboka is a contributor to Exotix’s media coverage and is regularly quoted in the financial press.

Serge Ghislain Doukoure Frejuce

Technical Advisor, Office of the Prime Minister, Côte d’Ivoire

Serge Ghislain Doukoure Frejuce is an engineer statistician economist currently serving as a technical advisor to the prime minister of Côte d’Ivoire, where he is in charge of the human development sector. Prior to this position, he was the assistant to the general director of economy for the government of Côte d’Ivoire.

In this role, he worked with the International Monetary Fund, and was responsible for monitoring the country’s financial and economic program, as well as for the debt relief and development contract between Côte d’Ivoire and France. He has also worked as an analyst at the Central Bank of West African States, where he prepared foreign trade indices for the West African Economic and Monetary Union zone, and for the Ministry of Economy, where he managed investments for state companies and provided support to the companies in the ministry’s portfolio.

Jarius Andrew Greaves

Jarius Andrew Greaves is the executive director of YONER-LIBERIA, a non-governmental youth organization that provides programs and services to enhance the quality of life for children and young adults.

Greaves is a passionate social activist, volunteer, and advocate for youth empowerment and local community engagement. He is a leading Liberian voice in the World Youth Alliance, and has more recently mobilized, trained, and deployed hundreds of volunteers to fight the spread of the Ebola virus through public outreach and education. He is a 2014 Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders semi-finalist, a student intern and monitoring and evaluation assistant in the Liberian Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, and a third-year undergraduate student at the Stella Maris Polytechnic.
