Goodiel C. Moshi

Director of ICT, The University of Dodoma, Tanzania

Goodiel Moshi is currently the ICT Director at the University of Dodoma, Tanzania. Prior to this, he was the head of the Department of Telecommunications and Networks at the College of Informatics and Virtual Education at the same University.

Dr Moshi has a Ph.D on ICT Business and Economic Policy at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan. He was awarded the best policy brief award at the Communications Policy Research South (CPRsouth) Conference in 2016. He is on the Rector’s list at the United Nations University, Tokyo. As well, he has authored and co-authored nine technical reports and academic papers. His areas of interest include but not limited to financial inclusion, ICT investments, youth empowerment, and ICT access and usage.

Malancha Chakrabarty

Associate Fellow, Observer Research Foundation (ORF), India

Malancha Chakrabarty is currently working as an Associate Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation, New Delhi. At ORF, she heads the team which researches on India’s development relations with Africa and the neighbourhood.

Malancha is particularly interested in understanding the impact of emerging countries such as India, China and Brazil on Africa's development process. She also works on food security and nutrition related issues and holds a PhD in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Her PhD thesis explored the nature and impact of Chinese trade, investment, and development cooperation in three sub-Saharan African countries namely Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Ethiopia.

Ayman Cherkaoui

Special Advisor to the COP 22 Presidency, Morocco

Ayman Cherkaoui is currently the Special Advisor to the COP 22 Presidency, Lead Counsel for Climate Change at the CISDL, CEO of Argan Consulting, Expert for GIZ, and Fellow at the Oxford Climate Policy Centre.

Cherkaoui has also worked for Valyans Consulting, IATA and Air Liquide. He holds a M.Sc. in Finance (EM Lyon), a Law degree (Université de Montréal) and a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering (McGill University). He also holds degrees in business sustainability (University of Cambridge), climate change adaptation (University of Oxford) as well as a number of certificates in environment and diplomacy from various universities. He has published on law, investment and climate adaptation topics and has spoken in/moderated dozens of international conferences.

Rumbidzai Chisenga

Program Manager, Mandela Institute for Development Studies, Zimbabwe

Rumbidzai Chisenga is a young leader who carries a heart for the transformation of Africa’s political landscape. She currently oversees all programmatic activities at the Mandela Institute for Development Studies (MINDS), a Pan-African think tank that engages Africans on finding Afro-centric solutions to the continent’s development challenges.

Prior to joining MINDS, Rumbidzai worked as a Management Consultant for over seven years, gaining experience in business analysis, human performance, and project management. During that time, she specialized in developing bespoke learning solutions in the South African banking sector where she was involved in a range of projects during key transitions in the industry. Rumbidzai also founded a social enterprise that encouraged youth to engage in governance and participate in nation building. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics Honours) degree from Rhodes University and a Master’s of Management in Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation from Wits Business School, South Africa. 

Dounia Chraïbi

CSR Senior Manager, OCP, Morocco

Dounia Chraïbi is currently a Senior Manager within the Sustainable Development direction at OCP, a Moroccan company and world leader in phosphates industry.

She is in charge of defining OCP’s CSR policy and governance. She is also conducting an entrepreneurship program aimed at underprivileged youth as well as the monitoring of major territory development projects. Her previous professional experience was in a private equity fund dedicated to agribusiness industry in Morocco. Prior to this, she was a senior strategy consultant in charge of defining public policies for the Moroccan government. Dounia co-created EMLyon Moroccan alumni association and she is currently launching InspYre, a mentoring initiative for the youth. Dounia completed her MSc in Management at EMLyon business school in 2008.

As a social entrepreneur with over 5 years of experience, He has demonstrated a strong commitment to advocating for a social positive change by supporting less fortunate children to access quality education, and by using his stories to break the silence and fight against sexual violence perpetrated against young women and girls in Rwanda. He is a better known filmmaker, a published author, and a certified peer educator in his community. He has received several recognition for his works including being: Africa Youth Award Winner 2016 for Leader of the Year, International Winner for the 2015 Global Dialogues Contest, and 2016 Queen's Young Leader Highly Commended Runner Up. Jean Claude is an alumnus of the Global Youth Connect and is a scholar at the Kenyatta University for the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), a flagship program of former US President Barack Obama for Young African Leaders.

Sidi-Mohamed Dhaker

Sidi-Mohamed Dhaker is the Director of Strategy, Transformation & Communication of the Central Bank of Mauritania.

In this capacity, he is actually leading the Bank’s modernization plan and its organizational transformation Program. He is also Associate Professor of Strategy and Management at the University of Nouakchott and Research fellow at the Mauritanian Institute for Strategic Studies (IMES), where he focuses on public policy evaluation, good governance and institutional change. He was formerly Associate Director of design, monitoring and evaluation (DM&E) at World Vision International in charge of quality assurance for 15 development programs in Mauritania (17M$/year). Prior to returning to Africa, he worked for several years as management consultant and researcher in Europe especially in France.

Engaged youth activist and afro-optimist, he founded the Institute of Leadership (iLead), a not-for-profit organization which aims at empowering the young generation of entrepreneurs and public leaders. He received several distinctions and awards, the last being the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders in 2015. Sidi-Mohamed graduated from University of Versailles with a Research Master in Management and from HEC Paris with a Master in Strategic Management.

He also received a Master in Economics & International Development from University of Paris XII and completed a doctoral program (PhD) in Strategy & Management. He earned also a Certificate in Intercultural Communication from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, a Post-Graduate Certificate in International Management form Georgetown University and an Executive Certificate in Public Policy from Georgia State University.

Adrian has advised clients on market-entry strategies, sensitive due diligence investigations and successful approaches for navigating complex political and stakeholder dynamics. He was previously an Analyst with Salamanca Group’s business intelligence and investigations division, where he worked on investigations focused on sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. Prior to working in the risk advisory industry, Adrian worked at McKinsey and the EEAS, the EU’s foreign policy body. Adrian has a BA in Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Cambridge.

Asmaa Guedira

Asmaa Guedira is passionate about gender, and very interested in the impact of social innovation enabled by digital technology and the shifts happening in our societies, especially in developing countries.

She believes that collaborative and creative communities offer new alternatives to social and economic development. Today she thrives in exploring the links between gender, digital feminism, the new economy and creative communities. She currently leads an edutainment program in MENA for the Womanity Foundation, is a connector for OuiShare and founded the Hyper-Gender project. Asmaa spent the last 3 years working with entrepreneurs, artists and social change networks around the world, especially in Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region; writing, speaking, organizing and facilitating conferences, retreats and workshops. Since her "job-out" her focus has been on creating synergies in the areas of gender, digital collaborative innovation and social entrepreneurship between Europe and MENA. She has been working and consulting for various organizations involved in the MENA region, such as MitOst, SwitchMed, or the Womanity Foundation.

In 2015 she started living as a digital nomad, travelling between Berlin, Paris, Morocco, Brazil, the US, South East Asia and many MENA countries. Asmaa worked 3 years as a business consultant for PwC in Paris, She then changed life in 2013. to become freelance. She first joined the OuiShare network, as a core member, and more recently also collectives like Amanitas, Neotribes, Global Innovation Gathering, ou the "Crazy Toads". Asmaa grew up in Rabat in Morocco until I was 18. and then moved to France to study business and management, and spent 12 years studying and working between Lyon, New York, Istanbul and Paris, before starting a nomadic life in 2015.
